This website

This website does not use cookies and does not ask you for any personal information. It has no forms.

I use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, your country and city, and your browser and device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you. The website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.

Booking

Appointments are booked through Jane, a Canadian practice management system. When you book, the information you enter is stored by Jane on servers in Canada and is used to schedule your appointment, send reminders, and issue receipts. Jane's privacy policy is at jane.app/privacy.

Email

If you email me at saratribepsychotherapy@gmail.com, your message is stored in my email account and used only to reply to you. Please keep clinical details out of email; we can cover them by phone or in session.

Clinical records

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a health information custodian under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Clinical records are kept confidential and stored securely, and are retained for the period the College requires. Information is shared only with your consent or where the law requires it, for example where there is a risk of serious harm.

You can ask to see your record, request a correction, or raise a concern by contacting me directly. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario at ipc.on.ca.
